Sacred Heart Elementary School is a parish school. Every effort is made to minister to parish children and their families first. All incoming students are academically tested and will, upon performance, be admitted as follows:
Priority of acceptance:
- Children of families who have other children presently in our school
- Children of families who are active members of the Sacred Heart Parish
- Children of families who are registered in the Sacred Heart Parish
- Catholics who are members of other parishes
All incoming kindergartners must be five years old before September 1st of the current school year. A student entering the first grade must be six years of age before September 1st of the current school year.
Sacred Heart Elementary School in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color, or national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school.
