Halloween Fun at Sacred Heart!

November 24, 2012 by Principal

Halloween was celebrated with great fervor at Sacred Heart Elementary on October 31st. The Annual Halloween Parade was held on the blacktop and was viewed by parents, friends, and city officials who came to see the many colorful and creative costumes on display. Each class paraded around for all to see as Sister Maria Elena, and later eighth grade teacher, Ms. Pinal, led the classrooms in cheering them onward. Awards were given out to various individuals for different categories ranging from Most Creative to Most Scary. The morning ended with a dance routine by the Drama Club led by Kinder Teacher, Brenda Gomez. A festival followed with booths, headed up by each teacher and grade, for the children to visit and try their luck at for prizes. The day was a very exciting and happy one for all!
