Full-time, TK Teacher – Dual Language English & Spanish
We are the newest members of the Dual Language Network of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and are currently seeking a full-time dual language (English & Spanish) TK teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.
Candidates must:
- Be bilingual with native-like proficiency and recognize the benefits of bilingualism
- Plan collaboratively with colleagues
- Be receptive to coaching and professional learning opportunities
- Be well-organized, highly energetic, and deeply caring
The most competitive candidates will possess:
- Undergraduate degree in early childhood, elementary, or general education
- CA teaching credential, or is in the process of obtaining
- Experience teaching
- Understand second language acquisition
- Training in literacy development
- Understanding of dual immersion programming and research
- Basic catechist certificate
Long Term Substitute Teacher – Middle School Math & Science
We are seeking a long-term substitute teacher to deliver Math & Science instruction to students in grades 6 – 8 as a member of our middle school team.
Candidates must:
- Have strong classroom management
- Be able to meet the needs of various learning styles and levels.
- Be knowledgeable in the integration of technology
The most competitive candidates will possess:
- Undergraduate degree in elementary, or general education
- CA teaching credential, or is in the process of obtaining
- Experience teaching Math & Science at the middle school level
Part Time Custodian
We are seeking a part-time custodian to help with the daily maintenance of the school grounds. Duties include general cleaning of buildings and grounds, minor maintenance tasks, and basic lawn and garden care. Regular hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 12pm.
Candidates must:
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring intermittent bending, stooping, and walking.
- Manage time efficiently and work well when supervisors are not present.
- Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work.
- Ability to use basic cleaning and landscaping equipment safely.
