The students of SHES were thrilled to welcome the one and only Ronald McDonald to their school. He arrived to share with the students all about the excitement and fun of reading. He shared many colorful stories and even performed some magic for the students. After Ronald rallied everyone towards reading every day, he gave away a beautiful book to each child based upon their grade level. There were many happy faces and excited students at this. Everyone found his visit great fun and they look forward to seeing him again next year. When asked how long he has been doing what he does, he answered that he has been up to this work for 50 years!! A big thank you to SHES Board Member Mr. John Sanchez for arranging Ronald’s visit.
